John Baptist Watermolen

1900 Census - John Baptist Watermolen was a farmer in the Town of Bellevue. He owned a farm and had a mortgage on it.  He lived there with his wife Mary, and children Frank, Felix, Harriet, Anna, Phillip, his father Christopher, and his mother Petronella.  Frank, Felix, and Harriet were in school.  John, Mary, Frank, Felix and Christopher could read, and Mary and Christopher could write.  They all spoke english except for Petronella.

1910 Census - lists John, Mary, Felix, Harriet, Anna, Philip, Lucy, Anton, Mamie.  John and Mary were married for 20 years.

1920 Census -  lists John, Mary, Philipe, Lucy, Anton and Mamie. They all could read and write.  Lucy (19 years old) and Anton (16 years old) were no longer in school but Mamie (13 years old) was attending school. Both John and Marys parents spoke Dutch.  Philipe was listed as a laborer in a packing plant.
