1860 United States Federal Census, Wisconsin, Brown, Eaton, dated 28 Aug 1860 lists Francis Van der Keelen age 29 living in the Town of Eaton with his wife Lucy age 21 and his half brother John age 24. Francis and John were farmers. Value of Real estate owned by Francis was $100 and by John $80. Francis, Lucy and John were born in Belgium.

DIED LAST EVENING
Mrs Frank Vanderkelen will be buried Monday
Morning.
Mrs. Frank Vanderkelen died at 7:30 o'clock last
evening at the home of her daughter, 1138 Walnut St. The cause of
her death was cancer. She had been sick for a long time.She was 58 years
of age and was born in Uncquart,Europe. Her funeral will be held Monday
morning at 9 o'clock from SS Peter and Paul church over East River.
The interment will be at the Finger church cemetery in the Town of Preble.
