Obit for Hattie Scray Vanden Langenberg from the Green Bay Press Gazette 29 June 1972

Mrs Joseph (Hattie) Vanden Langenberg, 75, 2064 Manitowoc Road, died Friday afternoon in a local hospital.  Born in the town of Rockland, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Martin Scray, she married Mr Vanden Langenberg in 1916 in De Pere. The couple resided at the present address where they farmed until his retirement in 1958.  He preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1962.  Mrs Vanden Langenberg was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the church.

Survivors include seven sons, Harvey, Marvin, Howard, Lloyd, Raphael and Ronald, all of Green Bay; and Ken, at home: four daughters, Mrs. Wilbert (Eloise) Vander Kelen, Mrs. Raymond (Rosella) Lamal, Mrs Orland (Loraine) Nick and Mrs Arnold (Bernice) Rentmeester, all of Green Bay; 61 Grandchildren, and 30 great-grrandchildren.  Two sisters Mrs Mayme Brienen and Mrs Annie Matzke preceded her in death.

At Proko-Wall Funeral Home 1630 E Mason after 7 tonight and after 2 p.m. Sunday.  Altar Society Rosary 8 p.m. tonight.  Parish wake service 8 p.m. Sunday.  Funeral 10:30 a.m. Monday, St Philip Catholic Church with the Rev. Roger Strebel officiating.  Burial at Allouez Cemetery.

According to Hattie's death certificate, cause of death was Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack).
