Obit for JOSEPH VANDEN LANGENBERG from the Green Bay Press Gazette August 1962

Joseph Vanden Langenberg, 69, 2064 Manitowwaoc Road, died Sunday morning in a local hospital after a short illness.  Born in Bellevue, he married the former Hattie Scray in De Pere in 1916.  After their marriage the couple resided at the above address where they farmed until their retirement four years ago.  Mr Vanden Langernberg was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Philip Church.

Survivors are his wife; seven sons, Harvey, Marvin, Howard, Lloyd, Raphael and Ronald, all of Green Bay; Ken, at home; four daughters, Mrs Wilbert (Eloise) Vander Kelen, Mrs Raymond (Rosella) Lamal, Mrs Orland (Lorraine) Nick, Mrs. Arnold (Bernice) Rentmeester, all of Green Bay; one brother, George, Green Bay; Two sisters, Mrs Joseph Linssen and Mrs Martin Nooyen, both Green Bay; 54 Grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 tonight by Msgr. Theodore Verbeten and the Holy Name Society.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St Philip Church with Msgr. Verbeten in charge.  Buriel will be in Allouez Cemetery.

According to Joe's death certificate, cause of death was Carcinama of Rectum.
