Martin Scray
Martin Scray was married four times, His first wife, Delia Van Lanen, was 40 years old when she died in 1908 of Carcinoma of the Breast. Martin and Delia had  six children including my grandmother Hattie Scray.  The second wife was Mary Van Lanen.  Mary died at the age of 54 in 1921.  He married his third wife, Mary (Vanden Berg) Bloemers on 27 June 1923. She died 25 December 1934. He then married  Henrietta (Graves) Huempfner Bailey on 11 May 1936. Martin died less than two months later.

Obituary from the De Pere Journal Democrat 2 July 1936
Martin Scray, 69, of 221 S Erie Street, died at a Green Bay hospital yesterday morning after a short illness with heart trouble.  Mr Scray was born in the town of De Pere and lived on a farm near here until about 12 years ago when he retired.  He is survived by his widow two daughters,  Mrs. Jos. V.D. Langenberg of Bellevue and Mrs Earl Matzke of the Town of De Pere, several grandchildren and one brother , Will Scray of Glenmore.  Funeral services will be held at St Mary's Church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock with burial in Mount Olivet cemetery.  Mr Scray was a member of St Joseph's society which organization will attend the funeral in a body.
